International Travel Market Warsaw 2013 finished successfully
The third edition of the International Travel Market Warsaw 2013, which took place on 24-26 January 2013 in the Warsaw XXI EXPO Centre was a great success.
The area covered by the stands was more than 20% bigger in comparison with last year’s edition, the number of exhibitors and business visitors was also greater. The fair hosted more than 250 exhibitors from 22 countries, including Egypt, Indonesia, Turkey, Finland, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, Ethiopia, Algeria, Ghana, Jamaica, Norway, Romania, the Dominican Republic, Canada, India, Macedonia, Israel, Italian, China, Portugal and Poland. The fair featured stands of countries, regions and cities, travel agencies and tour operators, incentive travel agencies, hotels, conference centers, airlines and many other entities. They presented an offer for individual and business customers. Heavily exposed was our neighboring country - Germany, which has prepared a special seminar in addition to its very attractive stand. A strong emphasis was put on the common stand of Polish inbound tourism offices under the auspices of the Polish Chamber of Tourism.
The seminars and presentations attracted great interest. The very rich program consisted of two congresses of tourist associations and an innovative debate area on the fair stage, which hosted musical shows, presentations of exotic tours and new technologies. The Polish Radio RDC held conversations with exhibitors and special guests on the stage. This year the fair was visited by more than 6,500 visitors, including about 2,500 business guests. We have organized study groups for hosted buyers.
The fair has been awarded the honorary patronage of the Minister of Economy of the President of Warsaw and Marshal of the Mazovia Province.
A photographic report from the fair can be found here.

I think this show will become the most important tourism fair in Poland. I had a couple hundred persons visiting our stand, and they really knew why they came. And the Hosted Buyer Program is a sign of the big world. I appreciate it, indeed.
